About the film
A season shaped by legacy.
An Iowa cross-country program. A fifth championship within reach. A national stage on the horizon.
The film follows Pella High School through 2026 as the girls chase a fifth consecutive Iowa state title and Nike Cross Nationals qualification, while the boys pursue a fifth consecutive state trophy.
Beyond the results, the film explores the relationships, expectations and unseen work behind sustained excellence — and who young athletes become while pursuing something difficult together.
Practices, competitions and behind-the-scenes moments are complemented by interviews with athletes, coaches and alumni.
